Trains
The main railway station is PISA CENTRALE. All trains stop there. There are other two smaller stations, PISA SAN ROSSORE, in the North-West part of the town, where only few (Regional) trains stop and PISA AEROPORTO at the airport. Pisa can be reached from most Italian and European towns via Florence, Turin/Genoa or Rome.

Please note that:
1) On Intercity and Eurostar
trains a supplement is due.
2) All tickets and supplements must be stamped before getting on the
train at the small yellow stamping machines.
The closest airport is Galileo
Galilei Pisa Airport. There are daily connections with Milano Malpensa,
Roma Fiumicino, London, Paris, and some other towns in Italy and in Europe

The Vespucci airport in Firenze
has daily connections from several Italian and European towns. It is connected
to the center of Florence by buses and taxis.

The main railway station Firenze Santa Maria Novella is very close to the bus terminal. The train to Pisa (every 30'-60') takes approximately 1 hour. Another possibility is to go by taxi to the small (and closer) railway station Firenze Rifredi, where almost all trains to Pisa stop.
Other possibilities:
From Genova Airport: reach the railway station Genova Piazza Principe, then take the train (2 hours).
From Roma Fiumicino: take the
suburban train to Monterotondo/Fara Sabina (every 15'-30') till Roma Ostiense,
where almost all trains of the Pisa-Roma line stop.
There are also direct trains (every 30'-60') to Roma Termini. From Roma Termini or
Roma Ostiense you can reach Pisa in approximately 3 hours.
